Wow! Here we are in a brand new year...another opportunity to look for "The Best is Yet to Come." I know, that's hard to believe at times because of the difficult times we are living in and the loss of so many loved ones. But, I choose life and I choose to look for the good in every day...at times it is hard to find, but I'll keep on looking. Like many of you I have struggled with several issues, but I'm coming out ahead and looking forward to continue writing Book III "The Ancients" and beyond.
Mainly on this day, I just want to encourage you to not give up and keep HOPE in your eyesight. Pull your mind and thoughts away from dwelling on negative news, or circumstances whenever you can. Each one of us has "gifts' inside our soul and spirit. One of my gifts is encouraging others, so when I might feel bad, I reach out and encourage others through a kind word of appreciation....and it helps me get my mind off of myself.
I hope you will take time to discover your gifts. Some of you might be gifted teachers, counselors or good listeners. Others may have the gift of giving and creating gifts to actually give. There's so many ways we can reach out to someone and trust me, that feeling of giving is good.
